The Fountains of Philadelphia


A man cools off under a fountain part of the Washington Monument, near the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, after an evening jog on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

The sun sets on another day as the Swann Memorial Fountain, located on Logan Square, at 19th and the Parkway continues to add its beauty to the city. Designed by Alexander Stirling Calder in 1924, this Philadelphia monument was a dedicatioin to Dr. Wilson Swann.

Critical Mass
